Beatties strives for complete customer satisfaction. In the event that your purchase does not meet your expectations, a Return Authorization from our Customer Service Team is required.
If you are not satisfied with any stock item purchase, return the goods within 30 days of purchase, except for computers and notebooks, which must be returned within 14 days of purchase. Goods returned after 30 days will be subject to a minimum re-stocking charge of 25%. A full refund or exchange will be issued for stock merchandise provided the goods are returned in the original purchase condition complete with all packaging, manuals, products UPC code and warranty cards. All returns must be accompanied by the original shipping/invoice document with an explanation why the product is being returned to ensure a proper credit or exchange is given. For delivery orders, simply contact our Customer Service Team, stating your account and the invoice number that the goods were purchased on and a Return Authorization will be issued for exchange or credit. Credits will be issued once goods have been returned to Beatties.
*Orders for Masks, hand Sanitizers, Sanitizing wipes, disinfectants and Toilet tissue are not returnable.
Furniture Products – Please Note:
Furniture sourced specifically for the customer is not eligible for return. Upon approval, “stocked” inventory products may be returned with the customer paying a minimal restocking fee of 25% of the purchase price, exclusive of freight and delivery. The returned product(s) must be in new condition and returned in their original carton, where possible. Custom or made to order furniture is not eligible for return.
Technology Purchases – Please Note:
Due to the nature of technology products, there are limitations on their return. Before buying any product, our trained associates would be pleased to help you ensure that it meets your needs. Also, be sure to check your purchases for compatibility with your current system before opening the packaging.
- Inkjet and laser toner cartridges must be returned in the original package unopened and in a saleable condition or a credit note or exchange will not be issued.
- Software is not returnable if opened due to copyright laws. Opened defective software may be exchanged for the same item only.
- Headphones, Headsets, and Earbuds are not returnable due to sanitary reasons.
- Clearance products or goods sold “as is” are not returnable.
- Special Order Products are not returnable*
- Food, Beverage, and First Aid Products – For health and safety reasons, we do not accept returns on these items, unless defective, or our error.
- Janitorial and Sanitation Products – For Health and Safety reasons, these items can only be returned only if the packaging is unopened and unaltered. Open containers of hazardous items (defective or damaged) will not be returned. For safety of our drivers, spilt liquid, broken glass, or damaged hazardous materials will not be picked up. A credit or replacement will be issued. Orders for Masks, hand Sanitizers, Sanitizing wipes and disinfectants and Toilet tissue are not returnable.
All credit claims for damaged products, sales errors and short shipments should be requested immediately after receiving and verifying your order and no later than 10 business days from invoice date. All requests for proof of delivery must be received within 60 days of the invoice date.
*Office supplies, computer supplies and hardware, office furniture and business machines, which are not carried in stock by Beatties, and which are ordered to a customer’s specifications are not returnable without vendor’s/manufacturer’s prior authorization. If we are allowed to return the goods back to the vendor a restocking charge will apply. Please contact your Beatties representative regarding your specific situation.
Defective products returns policy
All products are guaranteed against manufacturing defects within a minimum 30 days of receipt and are covered by each manufacturer’s guarantee, which will vary in content and length from one item to another. Return Authorization from our Customer Service Team must be obtained prior to returning a defective product. After 30 days, please contact the manufacturers directly for instructions. Defective computer peripheral products and business machines are contingent on the manufacturer’s defective and/or repair/replacement policy and may require direct customer relations by contacting the manufacturer directly.
Within the first 30 days following purchase, most defective computer, peripheral and business machine products will be tested by Beatties Service Team(s) and then repaired or replaced with an identical product free of charge. After that period, the manufacturers’ warranty will apply. You can contact the vendor directly or we would be pleased to assist you in obtaining vendor warranty service.
All defective products must be returned in the manufacturer’s original packaging and include all components and other items originally packaged with the product, including all software, manuals and cables etc. Otherwise a re-stocking charge will apply or return may be denied.
